I have over 27,000 "photographs" stored digitally....... a ridiculous amount. Only a very low number would I consider good enough to print and make solidly visible.

These fall into two categories

Personal and sentimental mementos
An interesting visual captured

I decided to use this vast digital archive as a resource to create prints that could well be defined by the aforementioned categories but are not limited by them.

A creative process has been integral to each and every one of the work displayed below. Digitally remastered using photo editing apps such as my favourites - AffinityPhoto, AffinityPublisher (beta), PhotoSketcher and Instant. AffinityPhoto even has tools to crop, dodge and burn - tools that photographers working in a traditional darkroom would be familiar with. Careful consideration has been given to how each image is framed and printed (Canon inkjet printer) aiding them to become a solid object rather than a digital file.
