Art is a practice and I have been practising all my life. From quick observational sketches done in less than 5 minutes to developing a painting that can take years. I end up with pieces of work that each contain a story to be read. Every one is unique, even when I make prints from linocut or etching plate I like to veer away from printing a run of multiple copies which all look the same! Some of my art is out there in the world, they have found someone with whom they can communicate and live. But there are also stories stored in the attic unread, they have no existence there. They need looking at to give them life.
